The Generation Science Program – Senior builds on the foundation established in the Junior program, offering advanced learning, leadership, and research opportunities for university students and early-career professionals passionate about driving STEM innovation in Kuwait.

This track focuses on real-world problem-solving, mentorship, and collaboration with academia, industry, and policy sectors to equip participants with the tools and networks needed to become STEM leaders and innovators.


Program Objectives

  • Advance applied STEM research skills and strengthen analytical, critical-thinking, and design capabilities.

  • Cultivate leadership and innovation through mentorship and exposure to interdisciplinary projects.

  • Foster collaboration among emerging scientists, entrepreneurs, and policymakers.

  • Support transition to the workforce by connecting participants with industry mentors and real-world innovation challenges.

  • Promote sustainable development through STEM-based solutions addressing Kuwait’s priority sectors.


Program Components

1. Mentorship and Advanced Skills Training

Participants engage in specialized workshops on innovation management, research methodology, entrepreneurship, and scientific communication, guided by leading local and international experts.

2. Applied Research and Innovation Projects

Teams collaborate on applied STEM projects addressing national or global challenges, supported by access to research facilities, technical guidance, and industry insight.

3. Industry and Policy Engagement

Through direct interactions with private-sector leaders, startups, and policymakers, participants gain exposure to how STEM innovation informs economic development and public decision-making.

4. National Showcase and Publication Opportunities

At the conclusion of the program, participants present their research outcomes and innovative solutions during a national showcase, with opportunities for publication, mentorship continuation, or project incubation.
