As part of KFAS efforts to enhance the capabilities of the Kuwaiti human capital and sharpen their professional skills, KFAS is introducing an incentive scheme to encourage individuals to obtain their professional certifications.
The objectives of this activity include:
- To support the job market needs and demands for qualified professionals in different sectors.
- To promote international best practices locally.
- To encourage and support Kuwaiti nationals who wish to enhance their skills and knowledge to meet international standards.
Participants who successfully obtain a professional certificate will be eligible for an attractive monetary reward.
- The reward amount will be determined in accordance with KFAS internal policies and procedures.
- The reward may be up to five (5) times the exam fee, subject to a maximum ceiling determined by KFAS.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Nationality: Kuwaiti.
- Age: Under 45 years old at the date of the exam.
- Education: Holds a university-level degree.
- Employment Status: Must be working in Kuwait or actively seeking employment.
- Approved Certificate: Application must be for a professional certificate approved by KFAS (the list is available in the application form).
- The grant is for future certifications only, not for certificates already earned.
- The exam date must be scheduled at least 14 working days after the date of application submission.
- If employed: A letter from the employer confirming that the applicant is not receiving reimbursement for the same certificate is required.
- If not employed: A letter from the Public Institution for Social Security (PIFSS) confirming unemployment or self-employment status must be ---provided.
- The incentive scheme covers only the exam fee of the professional certificate.
- The program operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the annual capacity is reached, remaining eligible applications will be deferred -to the following year.
- The grant is awarded once per person per year, provided the certification is successfully completed within the same year.
