Empowering early-career researchers to pursue innovative research and build a brighter future
The Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) provide grants for Young Researchers. Young Researcher Grants are aimed to promote and support students, working professionals and researchers (non-Ph.D. holders) under the age of 33 who are interested in leading applied or fundamental research projects to help foster their research careers. These grants should be implemented at local research or academic institutions or entities. Individuals awarded these grants should be under the supervision of a qualified mentor (holding a PhD degree or equivalent) at these institutions or entities. Individuals with at least a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply.
All submitted proposals should aim to generate solutions and outcomes that advance a scientific field, promote innovative approaches or methodologies, and support the development of new technologies.
